Our awesome Ashlynn turned 4 on September 22nd. She is a delightful little girl. She is very sweet (most of the time) to her family and friends. When she's really feeling it, she'll stop, smile and wave at randome people on the street. She loves to sing. Loudly. (She might be a little tone deaf, but you didn't hear it from me.) One of my favorite things these days is driving in the minivan with the girls belting out Disney tunes in the back. Ashlynn hates fruits and vegetables. I mean, she won't touch them. She'll barely even look at them. And she is a smart cookie. Ashlynn taught herself to read almost a year ago watching Leap Frog videos.
Ashlynn, like her sisters, is very into Disney princesses these days. And since they already have almost all of the other dress-ups and dolls, Ashlynn got quite a bit of Pocahontas gear for her birthday.
But her real birthday present, which was actually a present to the whole family, was a trip to Disneyland instead of having a big birthday party. We had a great time. Thank you Ashlynn. I had way more fun at Disneyland that I would have at a birthday party with a bunch of four-year olds.
The girls' favorite thing at Disneyland was probably watching the Tangled adn Beauty and the Beast at the Royal Theatre.
Brookie was especially excited to find this wanted poster for Flynn Rider.
Splash Mountain was a close second on the favorites list.
Actually, their favorite part about Disneyland was the hotel. It was nothing special, but they were so excited to stay in a hotel.
They also really liked seeing all of the princesses in the parades.
And here are some more pictures from our Disney trip.
