December 2019

I haven't looked at this blog for years.  It's fun to look back on some of these memories.  I'll have to start posting every once in a while.

Today was a really nice day.  After volleyball and basketball practice in the morning, I took the girls ice skating.  They took a few lessons last year, but haven't been in almost a year.  It was fun to see the three of them skating around together, smiling and having a good time.  I wasn't planning on skating today, but they were having so much fun, I had to join them.

(Sadie may not like the video I posted, but it was so sweet how Brooke and Ash helped her up, and then they all skated off together holding hands.)

After that, we tried to go see Jumanji 2, but it was sold out.  So we we decided to get some Gelato (gotta love Coronado winters) and watched a silly, but enjoyable movie on Netflix.  After that, Sadie and Ashlynn played their first duet on the piano and guitar - "Joy to the World."  I wish I had taken a video.  Hopefully the first of many more to come.

We don't get many days like this.  All four kids are playing sports now (Sadie - volleyball, Ashlynn - soccer and volleyball, Brooke - soccer, basketball and volleyball, Hayes - baseball and basketball).  Our Saturdays our usually packed with kids sports.  While I enjoy the sports, it was nice to have a more laid back Saturday.

Some Recent Pics of Hayes

Hayes is decidedly under-represented on this blog.  So this picture post is devoted to him.  These were all taken within the last two weeks.

A few more animations

Sorry, but for some reason I find these mesmerizing tonight.  So I'm adding a few more.

Testing

Just wondering if these would post as animations.  Looks like they did.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my phone?  I'm not even sure how I made these.

(I apologize in advance if this makes you nauseous or induce seizures.)
