I'm still learning how to use this site

Something happened when I was trying to publish this post and now the pictures are all over the place. The pictures are pretty self explanatory, but I'll explain them anyway. The first two are to show off Sadie's big, blue eyes. Almost everyone who meets her for the first time comments on them.

The one above is of my two girls looking pretty--like always. This one to the left is Sadie and I in front of our little Christmas tree. Our place was too small for anything bigger. (But we did eventually put more ornaments on it. We just hadn't gotten around to it when we took this pic.)

The first is of Sadie laughing at me. It was taken a couple of months ago. For a while, she thought I was hilarious. Now, I can still get her to smile, but it takes a little more work. The second video is of Sadie eating apple sauce for the first time. She really did not like solids at first, but she liked the apple sauce pretty well. (Be sure to watch the last 10 seconds of the second video for some very cute squeals:)

First Post

I've been reading Joe Lowry's blog (blog.spotd.net) and have always enjoyed it. So when my 8-month old daughter started crawling this past week, and my mother on the other side of the country asked if I could put some video on the internet, I decided to give this blog thing a try. Mom, here you go. It's a little long--and she doesn't do all that much crawling. She was just learning.
