Weekends

Both Jill and I have demanding jobs that require us to work long hours. Like most people, we really look forward to the weekends. Yesterday, we grabbed a blanket and some toys and took Sadie to the park. Here are a few pictures, narrated by Sadie.

"How cute is my bonnet? Very. "

"This isn't very fun. Which way is out?"

"Pretty bubbles."

"Hmm, it doesn't look too fresh, but I bet it's still edible."

"Hey! Gimme that leaf!"

"No mommy. Let me kick it."

"All that soccer makes me tired."

Measurements

Sadie had a doctor's appointment this morning, so Jill and I made a little wager about her weight. I guessed 26 pounds, and Jill said 27. So who won?

Let's put it this way, if we were competing in the Showcase Showdown, we would have both lost! She barely topped 20, weighing in at a measly 21 and a half pounds, which is in the 85 percentile for 9 month-olds. I guess she hasn't been eating as much as we thought. She is also 30 inches long (97th percentile), has two bottom teeth, and is finally growing some hair (second picture).

UPDATE: Her head is 46 cm, which is the 95th percentile.
